About the Role
As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control programs. You will serve as a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff to ensure a safe environment throughout our facility.
You will be responsible for providing oversight of infection control and prevention programs, reviewing and updating policies and procedures, and overseeing antimicrobial stewardship programs. You will also serve as a member of the Quality Assessment & Assurance Committee and ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid state nursing license, a degree in nursing, epidemiology, biology, or microbiology, and certification in infection control and prevention. You will also need to have strong clinical, organizational, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
