Here's What You Can Expect In This Role
- Training first. Your journey starts with a dedicated focus on safety. Within the first 4 days, you'll undergo MSHA training, ensuring a solid foundation in safety protocols. Department-level training follows, not just covering basic tasks but emphasizing safety practices as well.
- You'll offer your technical expertise and guidance to support the team in maintaining and optimizing equipment reliability. Your role involves establishing and upholding Maintenance Planning and Reliability standards in alignment with the site's business plan.
- You will spearhead weekly planning meetings, collaborating with maintenance and operations teams. Your responsibility includes updating the CMMS, managing work orders, and ensuring planned schedules are accurate, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
- You will organize external service provider visits for condition monitoring and maintenance services not achievable with on-site resources.
- You will regularly review the spares holding policy for maintenance spares and consumables, adjusting purchasing and inventory control settings to reduce reliance on airfreight.
- You'll collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to establish tracking and reporting systems for KPIs, facilitating quick analysis of maintenance, breakdowns, costs, and operating performance.
- You will help to foster a strong safety culture, promoting and exemplifying safe work practices throughout the organization.
