Location: Bellevue, WA
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our 5G lab team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for cabling, setting up, and maintaining servers and network infrastructure to support our cutting-edge 5G research and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
Design and implement cabling solutions for network and server infrastructure.
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of the 5G lab's network and server systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Collaborate with other engineers and researchers to support 5G lab projects.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, cabling layouts, and system setups.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network and server infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in server setup, cabling, and network infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
Experience with 5G technology and related infrastructure is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills. Preferred Skills:
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network , or similar.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with network security best practices.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
