Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Bellevue, WA
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support the setup, maintenance, and optimization of our 5G lab's server and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server hardware, cabling solutions, and network systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems.
Design and deploy structured cabling solutions to support network and server environments.
Optimize the performance and reliability of network and server systems within the 5G lab.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues as they arise.
Collaborate with engineers and researchers to support ongoing 5G lab initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of network setups, cabling diagrams, and system configurations.
Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend or implement enhancements.
Ensure all systems and practices adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in server deployment, cabling, and network infrastructure support.
Solid understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software systems.
Familiarity with 5G technologies and infrastructure is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
