We are seeking financial service or hedge fund professionals to fill a manager position within our middle office team specializing in private and broadly syndicated loans. The primary role of this individual will be to facilitate bilateral loan servicing that is a growing service we offer. This will include security setup and maintenance, data management including activity processing (drawdown, paydown, PIK, rate resets, etc), and borrower / lender communication. In time, the role will expand beyond the bilateral loan servicing covering data management, event processing, and / or closings across our client's global portfolios of loans.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5-8 years of hedge fund or similar experience
- Knowledge of bilateral loans, broadly syndicated loans, and credit markets in general
- Work experience with loan administration, loan servicing (reconciling interest rate changes, advances, rollovers, repayments, interest and fee payments and other loan related activity), or loan closing (calculating delayed comp and manual pricing letters)
- Familiarity with industry loan software - LoanStreet, LoanIQ, ACBS, Clearpar, Wall Street Office, and / or deal sites
- Experience with LSTA / LMA standard documentation and strong knowledge of the LSTA / LMA standard terms and conditions
- Proficiency with reading and analyzing Credit Agreements
- 1 year of managerial experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
