We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Steel Project Manager to join our team at Hedy Holmes Staffing Services. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the facilitation and maintenance of working partnerships with customers, general contractors, and field employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing support on planning, coordination, and direction for pre-construction and construction management activities
- Aid in monitoring of contractors' activities to track start dates for projects
- Review structural drawings for constructability and Standard details for field installation of material
- Participate in project meetings and assist with issuing meeting minutes for the administration and tracking of relevant information and project statuses
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures
- Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings
