Heidelberg Distributing is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist to join our HR team. This role is responsible for attracting top talent, managing the full recruitment process, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for all new hires. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing HRIS, ATS platforms, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support recruitment and onboarding efforts
Requirements:- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job posting approval, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for various positions across the company.
- Partner with department managers to understand hiring needs and develop job postings that attract top talent.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and ensure compliance with hiring regulations.
- Conduct initial phone screens as necessary and coordinate interview schedules.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees have a positive experience from offer acceptance to their first day.
- Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and administer onboarding training modules through the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Track and monitor new hire progress and collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth organizational transition.
- Support ongoing HR projects related to recruiting, employee engagement, and process improvement.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Update and create job descriptions and offer letter templates
- Support hiring through attending job/career fairs
- Perform other duties as assigned
