What You'll Be Doing
Operate scaling equipment to remove loose rock and debris from mine walls and ceilings.
Conduct regular inspections of mine areas to identify and address potential hazards.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on scaling equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Support the mining team with various tasks as needed.
Work in an underground environment with heights of 27 feet and a temperature between 50-60 degrees.
What Are We Looking For
Ability to operate and maintain scaling equipment in tight spaces.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical capability to handle the demands of the job including standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 75 pounds as when as other physical demands.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug / alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
