What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise and manage stripping, dredging, and production operations to meet goals.
- Plan and schedule production, ensuring optimal resource utilization and quality control.
- Identify and implement necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Lead and coach production crews, setting performance objectives and tracking KPIs.
- Promote safety by leading daily huddle meetings and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
What Are We Looking For
- 3 years of work experience in aggregate production or supervisory experience in a related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll timekeeping systems (Kronos preferred).
- Knowledge of overburden removal (stripping) and production processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating schedules and physical demands.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced production setting with exposure to outdoor elements.
- Requires physical activity, including lifting and operating machinery.
- Collaborative team environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
Physical Demands of Job
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, and climbing.
