What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Generalist Intern position at Heidi Health?
Heidi is on a mission to halve the time it takes to deliver world class care.
We believe that in 2050 every clinician will practice with AI systems that free them from administrative burden and increase the quality and accessibility of care to patients across the world.
Today, we have a suite of tools that modernize documentation. Tomorrow, we’ll equip every healthcare org with AI assistants that undo the tediums of clinical & non clinical work.
Our team is a potent mosaic of sage, accomplished leaders & brilliant polymaths hungry to prove it. We achieve in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do.
We’ve recently raised from a leading US venture capital fund, with an ambitious global go-to-market strategy starting with the US & UK.
The Role
You’ll get dropped into the middle of one of the fastest growing global startups, and you’ll be expected to figure it out. One day, you’re helping run sales. Next, you’re helping us build internal infrastructure for a new project.
You might be hosting events, coordinating logistics, supporting marketing campaigns, or handling customer success. No two days will look the same, and that’s exactly the point.
What you'll do:
Your job is to do whatever it takes to push the company forward. Including but not limited to:
- Sales: running calls, demonstrating the product, evangelising our mission unique perspectives on the market.
- Customer Success: Training users, helping them understand the product, embodying our values of clinician-first.
- internal ops: when something’s broken or inefficient, you help fix it. Billing, finance, payments, onboarding, etc.
- Marketing: Hunting key clients, generating new customers, booking meetings in unlikely places, etc.
- Logistics / general connective tissue: handling logistics, supporting projects, and keeping the office running smoothly.
What We’ll Look For:
You’re sharp, relentless, and ready to prove yourself. You know you’re great, but you haven’t had the stage to show it yet. If you’re the right fit, you’ll thrive in ambiguity and be the person who just gets things done.
- Completely egoless. You’ll do the unscalable, annoying, behind-the-scenes work that makes everything run better.
- Obsessive execution. You move fast, don’t need hand-holding, and leave nothing half-done.
- Adaptable as hell. You’ll be in sales one day, marketing the next, ops the day after that. Context-switching is second nature to you.
- Knows what great looks like. Even if you haven’t done it before, you know when something is world-class and when it isn’t.
- In-person craving. We don’t believe in virtual/hybrid, this is in-office only out of our NY office (Manhattan)
Why This Role?
We’ve had people go from intern to running entire countries in two years. There is no ceiling here—your growth is defined by your ability to execute. If you want a safe, structured internship, this isn’t it. If you want to be thrown into the fire, prove you belong, and be rewarded at a pace that doesn’t exist anywhere else—this is the one.
