Specific Responsibilities :
The role of the Practice Management Analyst is to support the Practice’s operations, strategic initiatives, and to provide the search teams with knowledge essential to business development and search execution.
Under direction from the Practice Management Director / Manager, the Practice Management Analyst should be proactive, working with search teams to offer insights, interpretations, and point of view based on knowledge gained through his / her evolving experience, and use of the firm’s knowledge platforms and tools.
Specific responsibilities focus on delivering services and capabilities across the Practice and Firm, either globally or regionally as determined by Practice Leadership and the Practice Management Director / Manager. The remaining time will be dedicated to search execution as directed by the Practice Manager / Director.
Business Development :
- Acquire and utilize business intelligence through various online resources including Avention, BoardEx, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Hoovers, Factiva, OneSource, MicroQuest, industry specific resources and company websites to support both proactive and reactive Business Development.
- Assist the Practice Management Director / Manager and Practice Leadership in marketing / branding initiatives that elevate the Practice’s profile in the market and the valuable expertise of our Consultants and firm.
- Track and report significant business development win / loss context knowledge; keep Practice Leadership informed on a regular basis and support knowledge sharing of lessons learned.
- Support the Practice’s competitive intelligence initiatives, specifically with respect to our proprietary client tools and methodologies, and conducting research / evaluations on those external to the firm.
- Conduct preliminary research to support speech writing, thought leadership content and other intellectual property development.
- Support knowledge management initiatives around Expertise Location and Knowledge Sharing.

Pay Range Guidelines for this Position :
The salary range for this position is 65000 USD to 90000 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills. In addition to your salary, Heidrick & Struggles offers discretionary bonuses (subject to eligibility requirements) and a comprehensive benefits package including : medical, dental, vision, disability leave, parental leave, paid time off and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Note : we have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
