If so, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team immediately. We are a hotel group located in the Heights that places exceptional guest care at the top of everything we do. Responsibilities: As a Hotel Front Desk Staff member, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Greeting guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Checking guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Confirming guest information, room rate, selection of room, & coding electronic keys
- Inputting and retrieving information from the computer and PMS system
- Providing information to guests about hotel amenities & local areas
- Ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted and charged
- Processing payments and maintaining financial records
- Demonstrating knowledge of hotel information including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area, and other general product knowledge
- Use up-selling techniques and promote marketing programs to maximize room occupancy and profit
- Answering and managing phone calls in a timely fashion
- Managing multiple tasks at once
- Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly, and efficient manner
- Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for optimal guest satisfaction
- Receive, retrieve, and relay messages and packages to guests
- Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following
- Previous hotel front desk experience required
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to move and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to detail and the ability multi-task
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Bilingual is preferred
- Choice Hotel experience preferred
- A bright, can-do attitude and welcoming presence!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
