Junior Front-End Engineer

Location: Preference is Cleveland | Columbus | Buffalo | Albany

Will consider remote candidates in CST or EST

Heitmeyer’s banking client is seeking a Junior-level Front-End Engineer to join its Servicing & Information Reporting Team to advanced its commercial digital platform’s information reporting. This role involves front-end development, working in Agile squads, and collaborating with technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular (13 ), RxJS, Ngrx, and related technologies
• Work with NodeJS, Express, Bootstrap, SCSS, NX, NPM, Native JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS
• Assist in implementing UI design using style dictionaries and design tokens
• Perform testing using Mocha and Karma
• Help integrate APIs and work with mobile frameworks such as Capacitor, Cordova, and Objective-C
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years of front-end engineering experience
• Banking experience required
• Expertise in Angular (13 ), RxJS, Ngrx, and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with API integration and testing frameworks
  
  
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud services
• Commercial banking domain expertise
