Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Accounting Oversight:
- Manage the accounting team, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial reports and statements
- Oversee the maintenance of accounting systems and processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and GAAP standards
- Develop and implement financial, billing, and auditing procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying trends and variances to recommend actionable insights for improvement
- Prepare and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports for decision-making
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain effective financial internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings and audits
- Risk Management:
- Support the evaluation and management of company liabilities and investments
- Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of insurance coverage and employee benefit programs
- Team Leadership:
- Train and develop accounting team members to build a high-performing department
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree inAccountingorFinance(required)
- CPA Certification(preferred but not required)
- Prior Leadership experience (preferred)
- AdvancedExcelskills
- Minimum of3–5 yearsof accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis, with a solid grasp of GAAP principles
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
