Role Description
We are seeking experienced helicopter Mechanics to join our team, working on fire contracts in California and Chile. You will have the opportunity to maintain a Bell 205 and or a Bell 212, contributing to critical firefighting operations while enjoying the benefits of a flexible schedule and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintaining helicopters in support of fire suppression, transport, and other mission-critical operations.
•Maintain high safety standards and follow company procedures for all maintenance operations.
•Work closely with a team of aviation professionals to ensure the success of fire contracts and other operations.
•Perform routine maintenance checks on assigned aircraft.
•Support emergency response operations and other specialized missions as needed.
Position Overview:
We are currently looking for skilled and experienced Helicopter Mechanics to join our team. As a Helicopter Mechanic at Heli-1, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of helicopters, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Maintenance & Repair, Troubleshooting, and Heavy Equipment skills
- Experience in preventive maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Minimum of 1 year as a field Mechanic
- Forest Service cardable
