The overall purpose of the Laundry position is to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness within well-established guidelines and assigned areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs duties and responsibilities with assigned functional area within a nursing home facility which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:
- Follows cleaning schedule as outlined for the housekeeping department.
- Provide a safe and sanitary environment for our residents.
- Ensure the facility maintains high standards of housekeeping excellence.
- Participates directly in daily housekeeping and laundry functions as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) year job experience in housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, hospitality, or other similar work situation.
- Committed to customer service.
- Friendly, responsible, dependable, team oriented
