Position Summary :
The Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for the overall development and management of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the business units they are assigned to.
Essential Functions :
- Lead the preparation, and drive the development and enhancement of the budgeting, forecasting, liquidity and analysis processes.
- Build financial models for existing operations and new business lines and gather, report and provide analysis of operations, trends, and margin in order to improve financial results and operational efficiency.
- Drive detailed financial analysis and provide key financial information and analysis in support of executive management decision making and strategy.
- Direct and execute all business unit activities .
- Direct the preparation of the weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts and variance analysis of income, cash flow and capital expenditures including generating insights and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement of the finance functions.
- Partner with Business Unit (BU) Leadership team to identify financial trends, forecasts & risks.
- Responsible for preparing Board materials and content, with occasional presentations to the Board as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Strong financial analysis, reporting and planning skills and advanced excel skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting analysis
- Strong quantitative analysis and insight skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across all organization levels
- Hands-on leader with ability to proactively respond to requests while ensuring all deliverables are met on time
- Experience driving improvement or transformation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance; MBA preferred
- 8 years of experience primarily in finance, financial analysis or accountin g
