The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment within our facility. This position involves overseeing a team of maintenance personnel, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience in industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or equipment installations, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for safety, efficiency, and technical skills.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance operations.
