Job Title: Controls/PLC Technician
Location: Millen, GA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician with extensive experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting to join our team. This role will be essential for maintaining and optimizing automated systems to ensure efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs for automated systems using Allen Bradley software.
- Use precision measuring instruments to evaluate and adjust system performance.
- Collaborate with industrial electricians to address high-voltage electrical issues.
- Conduct field service visits for installation, repair, and maintenance of CNC machinery and automated equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs for compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Allen Bradley PLCs in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, particularly high voltage.
- Proficient with ladder logic, voltmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control circuits, and instrumentation.
- Extensive experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and control system troubleshooting.
