Description
The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for corporate accounting, consolidations, management reporting and analysis of global financial data, as well as SEC reporting. This role will also be tasked with assisting in technical accounting research and position paper drafting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accounting records for the corporate entity and various foreign non-operating entities and prepare monthly corporate financial statements
- Consolidate segment level and enterprise level financial statements monthly
- Perform corporate cost analysis and communicate to internal stakeholders
- Provide financial information to the investor relations team for earnings releases and annual reports
- Assist with review and tie-out of quarterly and annual SEC reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of a SOX controls folder and tracking workbook
- Assist the internal audit department with documentation for testing of internal controls
- Assist external auditors with quarterly review and annual audit procedures related to the corporate entity and consolidated financial reporting
- Prepare and coordinate annual goodwill impairment analysis
- Assist with research on technical accounting issues
- Assist in developing and updating accounting policies
- Assist with ERP implementation
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of consolidations and FP&A software
- Continuous process improvement within areas of responsibility
- Perform other duties and tasks as required; assist with various special projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS degree in Accounting required
- Current CPA or CMA preferred
- Three-plus years of experience in a finance and accounting function
- Experience researching and interpreting US GAAP accounting literature
TRAVEL:
This position may require travel domestically and internationally which should be less than 10% of total time during the course of a year.
