Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education. Create and maintain a collaborative and positive school climate that promotes academic excellence, safety, and inclusivity.
- Instructional Leadership: Oversee and support curriculum development, assessment strategies, and instructional practices that foster student success. Use data to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning across all grade levels.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Lead efforts to collect and analyze student performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement action plans based on data to improve student outcomes.
- Team Building & Morale: Foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect among staff, students, and parents. Cultivate morale by ensuring a supportive environment that values professional development, celebrates achievements, and recognizes the hard work of the school community.
- Cultural Competence: Promote culturally responsive practices that reflect the diversity of the student body and the surrounding community. Ensure that all students feel valued, respected, and understood.
- Community Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the school and the community. Engage parents, guardians, and local organizations in school activities and decision-making processes to ensure strong partnerships that support student success.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in an educational setting, with a proven track record of student achievement and organizational growth.
- Strong understanding of instructional best practices and the ability to guide educators in their professional development.
- Experience using data to inform instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Knowledge of cultural practices and strategies to support team morale, community engagement, and student well-being.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
