Habitat Restoration Lead Duties: 

On a day-to-day basis, the Nursery Technician will participate in various tasks including hand watering of plant stock, removing weeds from container stock and throughout nursery, making minor repairs to shade structures, propagating plants from seeds and cuttings, labeling plants, transplanting seedlings, doing maintenance on watering system, as well as maintaining clean and organized growing grounds. On occasion, the Nursery Technician will be required to visit our project sites as well.

  Hourly wages will be based on qualifications and experience. Starting hourly rates will range between $18 to $21 per hour and will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements for Habitat Restoration Lead: 

• Genuine interest in habitat      restoration and horticulture
• Ability to work in various outdoor      weather patterns
• Physically able to twist, bend,      pull, reach, grasp, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
• Physically able to stand for extended      periods of time

Additional skills considered a plus: 

• Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record over the last      3 years
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Salary : $18 - $21
