Our production lines, including the advanced Marlen Autocook Line (ACL), integrate cutting-edge technology and rigorous quality standards to deliver high-quality meals efficiently and safely. We’re looking for skilled Machine Operator I to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations on the ACL.
As a Machine Operator I , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of advanced production equipment, specifically the Marlen Autocook Line. You will ensure operational excellence by maximizing machine uptime, maintaining quality standards, and prioritizing safety in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Advanced Machinery : Manage the operation of the Marlen Autocook Line, including its flattener, conveyors, Marlen grill, oven, chiller, and X-ray station, ensuring proper product flow and equipment functionality.
- Critical Control Oversight : Assist with process steps vital to food safety, such as monitoring product stacking on the shaker conveyor and supporting QA during CCP temperature checks.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot Equipment : Perform regular inspections and basic troubleshooting to resolve equipment jams or inefficiencies. Escalate complex issues to the maintenance team as needed.
- Setup, Teardown, and Cleanovers : Lead setup and changeover processes for different product runs, prepare equipment for sanitation, and ensure compliance with pre-operational checks.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Coordinate with sanitation, quality assurance, and material handling teams to maintain smooth production flow and uphold standards.
- Data and Performance Reporting : Maintain detailed records of machine performance, downtime, and interventions to support efficiency improvements.
- Safety and Compliance : Uphold strict safety standards in all machine operations and work in alignment with food safety protocols.
