Claims Avoidance through Schedule Analysis:
The scheduler will implement proactive measures to prevent disputes through schedule analysis, including weekly schedule variance analyses and documenting root causes of delays. They will maintain a risk register tracking latent conditions like delayed equipment deliveries or design conflicts in mechanical rooms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
The scheduler will serve as a liaison between project managers, VDC managers, prefabrication shops, union dispatchers, and owner representatives to align mechanical milestones with other trades and ensure seamless project execution.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in scheduling mechanical construction projects exceeding $10 million in value.
