Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled field supervisor to provide oversight, guidance, and technical support to our team of technicians. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems and a proven track record of success in ensuring high-quality workmanship while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to enhance overall growth
- Support team members in performing maintenance, installation, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC systems
- Offer backup on-call support for our team of technicians during peak periods or emergencies
- Deliver technical assistance and on-site training to team members, including evaluating their skills and suggesting development plans
- Conduct annual field technician evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
- Train technicians on the proper completion of maintenance, recommended repairs, and installations for large tonnage equipment
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls when the team is overwhelmed
- Ensure timely completion of scheduled maintenance within allocated timeframes
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Service Coordinators to optimize manpower allocation and resource utilization
- Maintain quality control over service technicians' work, reporting any exceptions to management
- Participate in weekly planning meetings to align schedules and ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC field services
- Extensive safety knowledge and training
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency, preferably with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage daily responsibilities efficiently
