Job Description: Private Duty LPN or RN
Helms Home Care is seeking to hire LPN or RN's for hourly private-duty home care in Matthews, NC 28104. The nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including medication administration, Trilogy machine, ADLs, PROM, lifting/moving, etc. and experience caring for patients on a ventilator and tracheostomy and or be willing to train. The shifts options include Sunday and Monday 7am-3pm, alternating Thursday/Saturdays 7am-3pm and Thursday and Friday 11pm-7am. Days may be flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with ADLs, PROM, lifting/moving, etc.
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate promptly with scheduling personnel
Requirements:
- Current NC or Compact State nursing license
- Familiarity with home skilled nursing needs
- Experience with caring for patients on a ventilator and tracheostomy and or be willing to train
- Reliable transportation
