At HelpDesk.tech, IT Support “Tekkies” ARE THE STARS OF THE SHOW. A Tekkie’s main responsibilities are to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on hardware and software for business computer systems, train and document at the user level, and contribute solutions to the I.T. community. The best candidate has 3 years of experience supporting large numbers of unsophisticated users, with remote control tools (LogMeIn, TeamViewer, etc.), the installation and use of most common office software (Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, etc.), installation of printer drivers and printer software, management of user credentials (Active Directory, User Accounts), user account management of Email / Exchange, use and management of mobile devices (iOS, Android), basic networking, and installation and use of malware mitigation software (antivirus and antispyware software).

Professionally experienced (3 Years in I.T. or 1 Years at an MSP in a Help Desk role)

Job Duties :

Provides end-user troubleshooting assistance and technical support to users needing hardware or software support.

Fields a high volume of phone calls and ticket inquiries and assists clients remotely via phone or internet.

Supports unfamiliar situations and scenarios by taking initiative, learning quickly, and providing solutions and service with a loving attitude.
