Job Summary
Helping Hand Nursing Services, a locally owned Nurse Registry, has been a trusted provider of comprehensive medical and non-medical senior care for over 30 years. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others, we want to hear from you!
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless communication between our nursing department, caregivers, and clients. Your efforts will help provide the highest level of care and support to our clients while fostering a collaborative environment for our caregivers.
Duties
- Coordinate schedules for clients in collaboration with the nursing department.
- Ensure caregiver shifts are fully staffed and meet client preferences.
- Address client and caregiver inquiries regarding scheduling and shift adjustments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client and caregiver activities.
- Verify that caregivers clock in and are present for scheduled shifts.
- Assist in payroll and billing processes.
- Facilitate new caregiver orientations.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator.
Qualifications
- Passion for helping seniors and their families
- Previous experience in scheduling or office management within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient service.
- Proficiency with office 365 and experience using CRM software
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- A compassionate and professional demeanor
- 5 years of experience in healthcare related field
- 10 years or more of office/customer experience
