Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting (pick-up/drop off) passengers to day program(s) while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a clean and organized vehicle (provided). Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van or similar vehicle to transport passengers as required.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition by performing routine inspections and cleaning.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately, including logs of trips and passenger counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from passengers during transit.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Shuttle Driver, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with the area is a plus.
- Ability to perform other duties when required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
