Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and groups.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
- Offer support and resources for clients dealing with addiction issues or geriatric concerns.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Experience
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
- Experience in behavioral health settings is preferred, particularly in hospitals or outpatient facilities.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and the ability to analyze client outcomes effectively.
- Knowledge of geriatric mental health issues is advantageous.
