Key Responsibilities:
- General Office Duties: Perform essential office tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing paperwork.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure precise and error-free data entry, and consistently reconcile daily census records.
- Accounts Management: Identify and process overdue accounts, collaborating closely with our corporate team to facilitate collections.
- Client Communication: Engage with residents and their families regarding billing matters through in-person interactions, email, and mailing statements.
- Medicaid Compliance: Prepare and submit LDSS 3559 forms to the relevant Department of Social Services.
- Admission Paperwork: Conduct meetings with residents and responsible parties to complete admission agreements and financial interviews.
- Medicaid Assistance: Assist residents and responsible parties with the Medicaid application and recertification process, including requesting and obtaining necessary documents.
- Corporate Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with the Corporate Medicaid Processing Department to ensure residents' compliance with timely processing of Medicaid applications and recertifications.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure continued insurance coverage for the residents.
- Mail Processing: Handle incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and maintain accurate filing records.
- Data Management: Maintain meticulous records, analyze data, and implement effective solutions to improve office efficiency.
- Confidential Reporting: Prepare classified reports as directed, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Office Knowledge: Familiarity with general office procedures.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a nursing home business office or billing office.
- Team Player: Must be a collaborative team player committed to contributing to the office's success.
