Helpmates is looking for someone with Shipping and Receiving experience. Responsible for verifying, recording, and scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy by comparing details with bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records.
Shift : 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm. Must be willing to work overtime until 4 : 30 pm.
Must be willing to present a resume and interview in person.
Pay Rate : $18 / hr.
Job Duties
- Choose shipping methods based on knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates.
- Label packed cartons or stencil shipping information using equipment.
- Assemble wooden or cardboard containers.
- Pack items with spacers, fillers, and padding.
- Plan and monitor daily shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
- Track shipments from origin to destination.
- Receive and record incoming orders of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Verify shipment details against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
- Record and address shortages and damages.
- Operate forklift trucks or pallet jacks for material movement in the warehouse.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
