Location Profile :
Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements including engine module assembly, structural assembly, rotor blade attachment, and aircraft engine shaft and spindle applications. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM.
Position Summary :
Level Two : Building upon level one, level two shipping / receiving clerks work with minimal supervision to complete all shipping and receiving tasks. Level two clerks will demonstrate an intermediate ability to aid in developing new packaging processes and procedures, and determine work priority based on the shipping schedule to prepare loads for pickup. Typically, 2 years of experience.
Schedule : Monday - Friday (between 10 : 00am - 8 : 00pm) with overtime / weekend availability as needed. Must be flexible with schedule and availability.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Correctly interpret work orders
- Lift up to 45lbs
- Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Can work in fast paced environments and be self-sufficient
- Intermediate system transactions
- Creating shipping documentation (BOL, POD etc.)
- Coordinating shipments for weekly goals / targets
- Eager to learn and have great attendance / reliability
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
