Full Time Nanny

Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We’re currently looking for a Full Time Nanny in Warren Township.

Looking for a full time nanny for two families, one in Warren Township and one in Orange. Each family has two children (Family A has a 5 year old and a 12 month old, Family B has a 4 year old and 8 month old), but nanny will not be caring for all four children at the same time. Care is needed 40 hours per week to be split between the two families - for example, the current nanny starts her day at Family A’s home at 7am and stays with them until around 4pm then travels to Family B’s home (25 minute drive) to work with them from 4:30pm until 8pm. Family B only needs care 2 days each week, so the nanny works the remaining hours (to equal 40 hours/week) with Family A. Both families have some flexibility and are happy to chat with candidates to see what schedule works best for everyone!

• Schedule: 3-4 weekdays (nanny’s choice of any 3-4 days M-F) from approximately 7am (family is flexible) - end time will depend on the schedule nanny sets with the families
• Start date: April 24

• 2 children in each home (will not be caring for all 4 children at once): Family A - 5 years, 12 months; Family B - 4 years, 8 months
• Rate: $22-23/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All aspects of childcare, especially infant care
• Cleaning up after children, bottles, dishes, etc
• Engagement & interaction
• Keeping children’s spaces tidy

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of childcare experience - infant experience a must!
• Authorized to work in the United States
• CPR certified or willing to become certified - First Aid certification a plus!
• Must have valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation - Family B’s home is 25 minutes from Family A’s home
• Up to date on COVID vaccines
• Ability to travel with families 2-3 times per year - few days to one week at a time - all travel expenses paid
• Being a good swimmer a huge plus! Family spends lots of time at their community pool and swimming during vacations

Compensation: Position pays $22-23 per hour and family needs care 40 hours per week long term
