We are currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Bothell, WA (98012).
A wonderful family in Canyon Park is seeking an occasional babysitter for their fun, sweet, and imaginative 3-year old and 5-year old to start as soon as possible. Care will be on an as-needed when the family nanny is not available and could fall on any day between Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The ideal candidate is an experienced sitter that will be playful, patient, and someone who respects the children as individuals.
- Schedule:
- Occasional/as-needed (no guaranteed hours)
- Weekdays
- 8:30am - 4:30pm (family is flexible on timing)
- Family is typically able to provide a few day’s notice of care (some last minute needs may arise)
- Start date: ASAP
- End Date: Long Term
- 2 children:
- Primary care for 3 year old
- Limited after school care for 5 year old
Rate: $30-32/hr
Responsibilities
- Engage with and spend time with the child through play and activities
- Going for walks or playing in the local parks
- Prepare and provide lunch and snack
Requirements
- 2 years of paid, professional toddler care experience
- Minimum of a photo ID for ID verification purposes
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Comfortable with family’s pet dog in the home
- Experience with special needs a bonus but not required
Compensation Benefits
This position pays $30-32 per hour, and the family is looking for occasional/as-needed care.
