We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Princeton, New Jersey 08540
A lovely family in Princeton is seeking a part-time after-school nanny for their 2 children, ages 3 and 6 years old, for an immediate start. Part-time care is needed for a total of 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 2:45pm-5:45pm. Additionally, the family needs 5 hours per week for bedtime support, which can be scheduled on 1-2 days between Sunday and Friday. This can include Sunday evenings from 5pm to 10pm, or extending 2 of your weekday shifts by 2-3 hours on your preferred days.
Occasionally, the family may require full-day care (9am-5:45pm) for school closures and sick days, although availability for this is not required. On these days, you’ll have the evening off. The family can provide a month’s notice for school closures and 12-24 hours’ notice for sick days. An ideal candidate will be caring, proactive, and attentive to both of the children's needs.

- Total of 20 hours per week — 5 hours to be dispersed throughout the week (candidate's choice)
- Compensation: $28-$33 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Bed-time routines
- Engaging with the children in age-appropriate developmental activities
- Homework help for 6 year old; phonics, reading, arithmetic, etc.
- Limiting screen time
- School pickups, playground visits, etc. (walkable)
Requirements:
- 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license is a plus
- Able to provide at least 2 professional childcare references from a paid setting
- Able to successfully clear a background social media check
- Must have a photo ID for identification verification (passport, driver's permit, or driver's license)
- Comfortable with cats
Compensation:
This position pays $28-$33 per hour, and the family is looking for 20 hours of care per week.
