A family in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is seeking a part-time nanny to provide care and support for their 10-year-old daughter, who is non-verbal and on the autism spectrum. This position is perfect for a compassionate, reliable, and attentive individual who is experienced in working with children with special needs.

Position Details

• Compensation: $30$40 per hour
• Schedule:
• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Includes two overnights per week to assist with morning routines and meeting the school bus.
• Start Date: ASAP, ideally by February 21

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive care and companionship for the 10-year-old.
• Assisting with daily routines, including evening and morning activities.
• Staying overnight two nights a week to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicating effectively with the family and school as needed.
• Collaborating with the familys team of helpers to ensure seamless care.

Additional Responsibilities

• Occasionally assisting with infant twins when needed.
• Maintaining a nurturing, patient, and supportive environment for all children.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine love for working with children.
• Experience working with non-verbal children and those on the autism spectrum is preferred.
• Reliable, flexible, and comfortable in a dynamic household.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing needs.
• Provide 3-5 professional references.
• US work authorization.
