Hemlock Hill RV wants you to join our team as an Accounting Assistant.
You will play a key role in supporting our Accounting Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all accounting transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Office Support
- Record and reconcile transactions for accounts payable and receivable, collaborating with department teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and confidentiality regulations.
- Manage cash drawers and daily receipts, ensuring they are balanced and accounted for.
- Maintain and update daily shared financial documents, providing managers with resources to ensure departmental profitability and stability.
- Support departments by ensuring accounting accuracy and timely submission of source documents.
- Assist in organizing and securely managing accounting files (both electronic and hard copies) for easy access by senior management.
2. Vehicle Processing
- Facilitate the lifecycle process of RV inventory, from arrival to ownership transfer, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely documentation.
- Create, organize, and securely file all documentation for incoming inventory, verifying details for accuracy and notifying the sales manager of updates.
- Process deals by tracking all closing documents and notifying relevant team members of any missing information.
- Organize and prepare titling documentation required for customer vehicle registration, ensuring compliance with state-specific requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on incomplete customer deals, ensuring all receivables and documents are in place to close transactions.
3. Supplies Management
- Conduct timely inventory checks for all office supplies across departments to support smooth operations.
- Accurately record and fulfill supply requests, ensuring each department’s needs are met efficiently.
- Monitor inventory turnover to optimize purchasing decisions, reduce unnecessary stock, and maximize cost savings and storage space.
