Required Qualifications:
● Successful coaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
● Alternate qualifications may be considered.
● Meet requirements for a background check and fingerprinting
Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:
● Background that includes a high level of pompon knowledge.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Knowledge of best practices in coaching.
● Experience working as part of a collaborative team
A successful candidate will be able to:
● Relate to and instruct student athletes in large groups, small groups and individualized settings.
● Develop and use strategies to improve individual and team play.
● Ability to work cooperatively with administration and staff.
● Effectively utilize discipline strategies while providing positive reinforcement
● Ability to encourage student participation in the sport.
● Work with other coaches by supporting and encouraging students to participate in other sports.
● Able to communicate with players, parents and other coaches.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure student success and a positive school climate
Salary: As per negotiated district contract.
