Summary
Safety & Emergency Services Co-op is responsible for performing routine safety and emergency services duties and maintenance, supporting site access needs in compliance with S&ES Department Procedures. Some of these duties include assisting with set-up and coordinating of emergency response training, chemical trailer inspections and site security rounds.
Essential Functions
- Assisting with site access needs and security inspections at Dispatch center. Using procedures within S&ES Department covering site access and site badge creation.
- Outbound chemical trailer inspections
- Performing maintenance and inspections on site fire, safety and security related equipment, ie. fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, post indicator valves, alarmed security system tests. Following maintenance procedures established by S&ES Department.
- Assisting with site training performed by Safety & Emergency Services Officers as needed.
