ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead administrator and processor for expense reports and Concur/SAP system.
- Assist with month-end closings, bank reconciliations, and other accounting items
- Assist and provide supporting documentation for audits
- Review and process invoices and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Research and resolve Purchase Order discrepancies with Purchasing and other Departments as needed
- Review and reconcile Company Credit Cards for processing
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify clearing of checks via reviewing the Company’s on-line bank application
- Assist with processing and preparing annual 1099 submission to IRS
- Communicate with vendors as necessary, verify discrepancies and vendor billing issues, and respond appropriately
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Proven work experience in general accounting and accounts payable
- Strong understanding of accounting and accounts payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Proficient in data entry and data management
- Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, and ERP systems
- Customer service orientation and communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 5 years of experience; or equivalent
