Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects to enhance their experience.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management and adherence to retail math principles.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services effectively.
- Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, including product displays and inventory management.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and educate customers on proper usage.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on customer service best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in the cannabis industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is advantageous.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
