**Job Summary:**
Hemphill Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Underground Utility Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our underground utilities crew on a construction site. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of utility crew members, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and schedule equipment and material deliveries as required.
- Inspect job sites daily to ensure a clean and safe working environment, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with onsite subcontractors, general contractors, and owners to resolve issues and achieve project goals.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role in underground utilities, with a proven track record of success.
- Valid Class A CDL and OSHA certifications (30 hr training, trench shoring, confined space, and first aid).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work independently and lead a team effectively.
