Underground Crew Foreman

The Crew Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications.
The role requires proactive leadership in managing safety practices, equipment maintenance, project documentation, scheduling, and workforce training.
The Foreman will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed on schedule, to a high quality standard, and within budget while maintaining a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
Conduct daily safety meetings, covering topics such as stretching, PPE usage, and daily safety precautions
Perform and submit daily equipment walkarounds, including checks for Foreman’s truck
Ensure possession of the correct set of plans for the project, and communicate effectively with the project team (Super, PM, PA)
Document all changes on project plans (As-Builts), including measurements, photographs, and details of extra work or requests from inspectors.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
Experience in wet utilities required
Experience working with heavy equipment, trench safety, and construction safety protocols
Familiarity with project documentation systems (e.g., B2W) and construction scheduling preferred
Strong ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing project conditions
Valid driver’s license required

Certifications & Licenses:
OSHA 30-Hour Construction
Safety Certification preferred
First Aid/CPR certification preferred
Any relevant trade-specific certifications (e.g., equipment operation, safety certifications) are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
