Our client is seeking a versatile professional to join their dynamic team in Fairfield County, CT. This position will be primarily responsible for asset management for their industrial portfolio while having some light accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Asset Management in Real Estate, allowing them to contribute to the growth and efficiency of the company as they continue to expand their portfolio. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of our industrial portfolio, ensuring they meet market standards and tenant expectations.
- Conduct periodic site visits to assess property conditions and recommend improvements or maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance property value, tenant satisfaction, and occupancy rates.
- Negotiate and manage lease agreements, renewals, and terminations with tenants.
- Coordinate with third-party property management firms if applicable.
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions regarding property acquisitions or divestitures.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Oversee internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present financial analyses to support management decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in asset management, particularly with real estate or similar industries.
- Proven experience with some accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar real estate management software).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
