Director of Data & Analytics

Seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to lead our growing data team and drive the organization's data strategy. This role will be instrumental in optimizing the BI and analytics capabilities, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the company.
With their new data warehouse nearing completion, my client are looking for a hands-on leader to spearhead high-impact initiatives in data integration, reporting, and analytics for 2025 and beyond. The ideal candidate will have both the strategic vision and the technical expertise to scale the data infrastructure and enhance business insights.
Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee and develop a team of three analysts and one data engineer.
- Define and execute the company's data strategy to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business objectives.
Data & Analytics Development
- Own and optimize BI and analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights.
- Lead the enhancement and governance of the company's data warehouse.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality management.
Technical Leadership
- Design and implement cloud-based data solutions in Azure.
- Oversee Power BI dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools.
- Drive improvements in ETL workflows, data pipelines, and integrations.
- Proven experience in a data leadership role (Manager/Director level).
- Strong expertise in Azure, Power BI, data warehousing, ETL, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience leading data engineering and analytics teams.
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into business insights.
- Hands-on approach to solving data challenges and optimizing infrastructure.
