What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Order Processing position at Hendley Communications Inc?
Walts TV is seeking a Shipping/Order Processing representative to process orders for shipment through our company Point of Sale (POS) system. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining an active work pace is essential to this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. Weekends and early mornings needed.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Process orders for shipment within the company POS system utilizing common
- Carriers such as FedEx, UPS, OnTrac, USPS, and numerous freight companies
- Ensure all orders from Marketplaces are processed accurately, in a timely manner and that all deadlines are met
- Generate emails and messages when appropriate
- Monitor and respond in a timely manner to internal Company chats
- Maintain Company reports and tracking
- Answer incoming calls for shipping and receiving
- Respond to questions and requests for information on shipments
- Work closely as a team with other shipping, warehouse and customer service representatives
Qualifications and skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Mail and Sheets
- Familiar with internet browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Explorer
- Working knowledge of Marketplaces such as EBay, Amazon, Sears, etc… is a plus
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fastpaced office environment
- Reliable and dedicated to completing orders in a timely manner
- Must be able to type at least 50 wpm
