Network - IT - Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of computer management, desktop support, and IT infrastructure, along with excellent communication skills to effectively assist users.

Duties

• Manage a ten (10) client work station environment including migration from virtual servers to a local server and back-up management.
• Provide technical support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving connectivity problems.
• Manage and maintain Windows operating systems across various devices within the organization.
• Configure and monitor firewalls to ensure security protocols are upheld.
• Assist users with desktop support, including software installation, updates, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Document all support requests and resolutions to maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with all team members to provide updates on issue resolution status.

• Use of AutoCAD to design parts and basic tooling
• Inventory management
• Safety Training
• Quality Control

Requirements

• Proven experience in computer management and IT support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Familiarity with firewall configurations and network security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with users at all levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must be able to multitask with accuracy.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Experience in Programming, AutoCAD, and AI Integration preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
