POSITION SUMMARY
Incumbent serves as a human resources generalist performing a wide range of duties, such as, employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting & selection, and workers' compensation administration for a large manufacturer north of Indianapolis. Responsibilities extend to dealing with matters involving workplace safety and employee wellness.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Maintains harmonious environment by supporting employee relations objectives
- Handles a variety of matters pertaining to the welfare and benefit programs
- Performs recruiting and selection functions
- Works with third-parties to source new talent
- Assist with onboarding and orientation activities
- Leads a wide range of training and development matters
- Handles leaves of absences and workers' compensation administration
- Supports workplace safety and accident / injury avoidance initiatives
