Hendrickson USA, L.L.C. is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive the design and development of tools, fixtures, and processes that support our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop: Create innovative manufacturing processes for existing and new product initiatives using expertise in CNC machining, forging, automated cell layouts/material flow, and equipment rebuilds.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Lead the engineering design process, installation, PPAP, and long-term technical support of manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
- Capital Project Development: Develop and implement capital or expense projects by researching new manufacturing technologies, planning resource allocation, and writing compelling CER proposals.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with product and process design reviews to enhance product quality and reduce production costs through data-driven insights.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related technical area (Mechanical preferred).
- Possess 5 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in manufacturing engineering in metal forming and/or automated CNC environments.
- Formal training in forging and/or CNC machining is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred).
- Hands-on experience in tooling & fixturing methods.
- Experience in procurement of manufacturing systems and equipment.
- Production experience is highly valued.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Be willing to travel to manufacturing facilities as needed.
- Work hands-on with support groups to validate designs & concepts.
